Shouldn’t “We the people” have given ourselves the rights to public social security measures including a public pension indexed to cost of living when the Government as well as the Opposition is of – by and for the people?
Why are we compelling “The Common Man” to play and assume market risks even if he merely seeks to secure a “common minimum” retirement for two?
Why haven’t we given ourselves the fundamental right to a “dignified old age”? Are we being too magnanimous???

Why is it that we as a world society glorify the accumulation instinct? Would it not be good for society if “such” lists comprised of people who “give away”? Instead of ‘ net worth’ by accumulation we could perhaps measure and publish ‘CUMULATIVE WORTH’ based on an individuals cumulative “giveaways” of wealth, opportunities, advise, LOVE, TIME, etc.
