NEW BRANDS as INFANTS

Whereas no parent would think of trying to make their child earn its keep it is not unusual for corporate think to extract cash flows out of infant brands instead of nourishing the brand and build its strength. The “parental investment” think is at times nonexistent. The “child labour” that ensues results in a “malnourished -commoditized” brand without any opportunity for “self actualization”.

Why restrict to designing resumes

Instead of just CVs, how about having your profiles designed instead of just resumes……..for creating 360 degree impressions……..particularly for top management appointments……CV+ social activity videos+ choice of music, books+ profile of friends (Orkut) + profile of professional network (Linkedin/ Brijj)+ selection of blog entries+ blogs being followed………….
And why just limit to job markets…………it could be Impressions being created for match making/marriage/dating……………………

Would it not be nice to have a sheathe with bristles which could be worn over our finger, for it would have the best reach…

Since brand is an emotionally loaded knowledge structure that resides in the minds of the target audience;how about having “Rolex” or ” Tag Heuer” showing time on our cell phone and Date and Day details displayed under “Kingfisher calender”

Education brands

Surprisingly we consider an educational institute with higher rejection rate better……….whereas a good institute should be the one which can develop competencies in students of non uniform capabilities…………
